R&A host ‘cream’ of NZ artists

A dozen artists have been an­nounced for the Cardrona Val­ley’s New Year mu­sic fes­ti­val Rhythm and Alps.

Man­ag­ing di­rec­tor Alex Turn­bull said while the main acts were still se­cret, tick­ets were al­ready sell­ing out. Big­ger an­nounce­ments would be made next month. The first tier of tick­ets for the New Year fes­ti­val has al­ready sold out.

The fes­ti­val catered for cam­pers and vis­i­tors in South­land, Turn­bull said. ’’ We are draw­ing peo­ple into the re­gion.’’
