R&A host ‘cream’ of NZ artists
A dozen artists have been announced for the Cardrona Valley’s New Year music festival Rhythm and Alps.
Managing director Alex Turnbull said while the main acts were still secret, tickets were already selling out. Bigger announcements would be made next month. The first tier of tickets for the New Year festival has already sold out.
The festival catered for campers and visitors in Southland, Turnbull said. ’’ We are drawing people into the region.’’
The chosen artists were the ‘‘cream’’ of New Zealand and international music, performing
New Zealand citizen Paulina Corvalan, of Chile, is opening a new ‘‘multi-cultural’’ restaurant in Clyde, called Paulina’s.
