Hoffman, Diggins win
United States and Korean cross country skiers dominated Saturday’s World Loppet races at the Snow Farm.
Top local performers were Wanaka’s Rachel Knott, third woman in the marathon, and Snow Farm sport manager Henrik Forsberg, of Sweden, third in the men’s marathon.
Ben Falconer was the first Kiwi man and 10th. Campbell Wright was first Kiwi in the 21km, sixth male overall, and first under-16 boy. Keri Barnett was the first Kiwi woman in the 21km and fifth woman overall.
