Transforming trash into flash

Showcasing the use of creative skills and imagination

Central Otago Mirror - - WHAT’S ON -

Central Otago’s creative geniuses will wow fashion-lovers with their display of creations transformed from trash into flash.

The Trashion Show, a premier eco-arts event, demonstrates how art, using creative skills and imagination raises awareness about waste and recycling.

Organiser Heather McPherson says creation through innovation of fashion items using predominantly recycled and previously used materials was at the heart of show.

‘‘Entries are a little bit more than last year - about 18 - and I think they are all amazing again.’’
