Central Otago Mirror - - OUT & ABOUT -

Locally owned and operated, Central Panel Beaters is under new management with Dennis Beattie, Kerry Gray and Shell Cook at the helm since April 1 this year. Shell is the face of the business, answering the phone, making appointments, meeting and greeting customers, and providing a pick-up/drop-off service when required.

Kerry carries out all panel beating work and Dennis ensures completed vehicles leave with a shiny new paint finish.

Shell says the team took on the challenge of owning their own business earlier in the year when Dennis’ father Paul Beattie decided it was time to retire.

‘‘The boys had been working together for the past two and a half years and he offered it (the business) to them.’’

Shell had been working in property management with First National and decided it was the right time to make a change.
