Business awards: Ignite Wanaka announces the inaugural annual business awards at a gala dinner at Rippon Hall. Frankton Kindergarten’s 2016 Auction of Promises: starts 7pm at kindy. Auction run by Ferg and Brendan Quill includes helicopter rides, a builder for a day, massage, outdoor settings from Mitre 10 and snow rides. Guy Fawkes: The Arrowtown Volunteer Fire Brigade has moved its annual display to Nairn St Reserve and are promising a display bigger
and better than ever thanks to some local businesses chipping in. Gates open 8pm. Fire works display starts when it is dark enough. Normally around 9pm or a little after.
