The Manhattan specialises in gourmet pizzas, and has a large selection to choose from that would satisfy more conservative palettes to the more adventurous eater. They also have a range of other food available including salads, nachos, pasta, soups and platters, as well as sweet treats. I always like to see gluten free options on the menu, and this got a tick.
I ordered a selection of pizzas (large $23.50, regular $18.50): Madison Ave, Union Square, The Ratpack and Times Square ($21.50), as well as a prawn and bacon salad. The pizza bases had a delicious thin base and had generous toppings. I was disappointed The Rockerfeller wasn’t available, as the walnut, blue cheese, thyme and rocket sounded divine. The salad was also colourful, fresh and full of flavour.
