Age Concern Tai Chi: for arthritis and general wellbeing 9.30am- Described as a ‘‘play within the play’’ the show pokes fun at a group of characters that write for a

Shortland Street style TV hospital soap called Heart of Hearts.

It satirises the lives of a group of TV soap writers, actors and the industry they all work for.

Actor Cameron Steele said the show was ‘‘definitely R16’’.

It was more risque than anything done locally in a long time, he said.

The play is written by James Griffin who also created

Outrageous Fortune, Westside, the Almighty Johnsons and the movie Sione’s Wedding.
