The ISPS Handa New Zealand Golf Open, has won $120,000 from the Queen­stown Lakes District Coun­cil in the 2017-18 events fund­ing round.

The tour­na­ment is at Mill­brook Re­sort on March 1-4, 2018.

The golf grant was the largest of 17 grants to­talling $583,500.

The coun­cil cur­rently com­mits $843,000 an­nu­ally to events, in­clu­sive of Christ­mas and New Year’s Eve events.

The next fund­ing round is in April 2018.
