FROM THE NEWS DESK

Central Otago Mirror - - YOUR LOCAL NEWS -

I’m delighted to let readers know that we’ve made some changes to our deliveries in the Arrowtown and Kelvin Heights areas.

In the past these areas have received their Mirror wrapped in plastic and thrown toward the house.

However, as of today, Arrowtown readers will receive their newspaper unwrapped and delivered directly to the letterbox. We have already made the change in Kelvin Heights.

Not only is this a more environmentally friendly system, but should also improve the tidiness of your neighbourhoods as no papers will be left on the ground.

This change follows feedback from some readers and we thank you for that.

If you don’t wish to receive the Mirror or other community newspapers in your letterbox each week, you need to put a sign up reading ‘‘Addressed Mail Only’’. A ‘‘No Circulation’’ sign won’t work as it assumes a household still wants newspapers.

Please keep in touch readers and let us know how we are doing.
