Open night at college

CHB Mail - - News -

Central Hawke’s Bay College’s recent annual open evening was hair-raisingly good fun.

Prospective parents and students visited classrooms, and talked to staff and students throughout the evening. They also watched the hair-raising properties of the Van de Graaff Generator.

Principal Lance Christiansen said the evening was an opportunity show what the college had to offer in school life.

“The college has excellent facilities and passionate and caring staff who know their students needs. The feedback from our guests was very positive.”

Mr Christiansen said the college has a proud history of educational, cultural and sporting success.

“Our students do so well in awide range of areas, academically, culturally and in sport, making the most of the opportunities offered at the College.”
