■ Thumbs up to the people who came tomyaid when I fell in Waipukurau last Friday. Love you all.

■ Thumbs up and thank you to the community for helpingmy sons and grandparents in the aftermath of their house fire in Waipawa on July 15. I do really appreciate the help and support of the community at this time. Thank you.

■ Thumbs up to whoever made the new track around the muddy area by the bridge.

■ Thumbs up to the businesses for their continuing support of our CYEdriver training programme and thumbs up to the volunteers. Without you we wouldn’t have a programme and a lot of youth wouldn’t be able to get their licences.

■ Thumbs up to theCHBCollege students who helped out at the recent Onga 7s.

■ Thumbs down to the person or persons at Porangahau who leave their household rubbish in the recycle bins or behind them.
