The next time you order over the bar at The Copperpot in Waipukurau, it might pay to enquire about an ANGEL as well.

To help patrons get home safely, the gastro pub and restaurant on Northumberland St, has launched a registered charity, ANGELS, where for a charge an ‘angel’ will drop you and your car home at the end of the night. Designed to transform the nightlife in town and allow people to have a good night without worrying how to get home, the best part of the non-profit initiative is that it is cheap and that all proceeds from the charity go to the local St John ambulance service. Remember what it was like to have fun but not have to worry about the journey home? So, next time you are ordering from the bar at The Copperpot, ask the staff for details and costs.

You might say something like… “Could I have a steak n chips and a beer and an ANGEL please?”
