LIBRARY EXPERIENCE REPRESENTATIVE
Our Library service has begun a journey of change, transitioning into a future focussed and agile service, responsive to our community’s needs and supporting them to THRIVE. We are looking for the right person to join our Library Experience team to support us in this change.
Think we are just about books – think again!! Turn your thinking about library upside down and inside out. In the role of Library Experience Representative, you will be busy supporting our community to THRIVE by explaining 3D printing, creating RealMe accounts, delivering programmes, completing rate rebate applications, registering dogs, greeting tourists, as well as celebrating the love of reading.
To be successful in this role while being a jack-of-all-trades, you will have strong computer and written skills, be able to confidently relate to people of all ages and cultures and be used to balancing different priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Importantly, you will have a sound understanding of the important role of libraries, in supporting the social and economic wellbeing of the Central Hawke’s Bay community. This role is 30 hours p/week.
