Waipukurau juniors scoop bowling title
Onthe weekend of the of November14 and 15, the Centre Junior Women' s Pairs were held at Havelock North Bowling Club. Waipukurau Bowling Club members Alda Anderson and Mary Sutton played in this event against some very strong opposition in hot sunny weather, and went on to win the Centre title. This is the first time this title has been won by Waipukurau, and a very satisfying first for Alda and Mary, who are in their last year as juniors at the the Waipukurau club.
