School makes sensational ‘Porridge’!

Once upona crime . . . what a great wayto conclude an interesting year for the children of Ongaonga School.
The whole school performed the production of Porridge with dedication and professionalism beyond their years. Through problem solving, the nurseryrhyme characters took us on an adventure throughHappy Valley. Fromthe Year0to 3 children reciting nursery rhymes to introduce the characters of the play through to the year 8 talent of Hollie McKenziewho played Jack Spratt, the wordperfect narrator, to backstage, set design, sound and lighting there was a vital role for everyone.
Thiswas anursery rhymewith a twist. Karen Barkle (principal) cast the pantomime withSam Lawson as Goldie Lox, Ma Hubbard played by Luke Madsenand FinnMacLeod making a stunningMama Bear. The one liners were delivered to entertain all ages.
