The Government’s $2 billion Family Incomes Package in Budget 2017 would ensure families directly shared the benefits of a strong, growing economy, National’s MP for Ilam, Foreign Affairs Minister Gerry Brownlee says.
Countering poverty required a ‘‘joined-up’’ approach across multiple sectors, among them employment, education, health and welfare, he said.
