A capella extravaganza
An event for a capella enthusiasts is coming to the city.
The show is an opportunity for Christchurch to see a show of world class calibre singers with the world champions sharing the stage at Burnside High School’s Aurora Centre.
They will joined by national champs Christchurch City Chorus, Burnside High Boys’ School chorus Malestrom, The Vocal Network male quartet and L’Attitude quartet.
New Zealand’s top women’s barbershop quartet. L’Attitude won the 2017 Sweet Adelines regional competition in Dunedin in May.
The four female singers – from Christchurch, Gisborne and Nelson – are heading to Las Vegas for the International Sweet Adelines Quartet competition in October.
Other performers will include Cashmere High Girls’ School’s Barbershop Chorus, The Canterbury Plainsmen, Aftershock quartet and Slovenian Gospel Trio called Kozlevcˇar.
Guests can expect a rocking 120-minute show of top a capella acts.
