FROM THE EDITOR

Christchurch Mail - - YOUR LOCAL NEWS -

Well, I asked for it. My request for suggestions for 45 things to accomplish before my 45th birthday heralded some great ideas.

I added many to what I had already considered, and have whittled it down to 45 things - some that scare the daylights out of me, some that I’m really excited to try, and some that promise to add a fair bit of fun and excitement into my life.

One thing I have been surprised by has been the enthusiasm which other people have greeted my plan. I may even be guilty of triggering similar goal-setting exercises in other people, which is kind of special.

While it’s a light-hearted and reasonably guilt-free exercise, it has spurred me on to greater and more exciting things.

I don’t want to wait until I’m on my death bed before I start ticking off my bucket list. That started last week, when I knocked one thing off my list – performing in front of an audience.

Now, what next? Check Neighbourly, Facebook and my blog for updates.
