Wow! It’s almost Christmas!

I swear I just packed the tree away a couple of months ago!

This Christmas will be a fantastic one for my whanau, as I will have all my children home for the first time in quite a few years. And I amso looking forward to it.

Christmas used to be all about spending way too much money to keep everyone happy, with the best, newest, flashest rubbish I could afford to buy. The materialistic side of Christmas gets so out of hand that at the end of the day the retailers are the only ones smiling and we are left standing with an empty bank account or huge credit card bill.

So this year (sorry kiddies) I am concentrating less on shoddily-wrapped gifts and more on being together, eating great food and being merry!

I will be escaping the retail madness, and making the start of 2018 a breeze! For Christmas 2017, be kind to yourself and to others. Chill out, relax, take it easy, and have a Merry Christmas. Feliz Navidad, Meri Kirihimete and may the force be with you.
