Loving the library
Last week, classes from the Whangamata Area School paid a visit to the Whangamata Community Library as part of a local history and reading study.
They brought gifts of book reviews, dust-jacket suggestions and project results.
All declared the visit a success. Some agreed to attempt the challenge to “… drag your parents in here and show them what a wonderful library the town has”.
DRESSED UP: Some class members from Room 3 made a special effort and came dressed as book characters.
BOOKWORMS: Enthusiastic booklovers from Room 8b enjoyed their visit to the children’s section.
