Teenage squash player Georgia Robcke — just back from representing New Zealand in the World individual under 19 women’s grade in India — will be among players at the annual Whangamata¯ Squash Tournament this weekend.

The annual Whangamata¯ Squash Tournament, which starts tomorrow, is a big favourite on the squash circuit, organiser Wayne Peterson says.

“The combination of squash, surf and hopefully sun is always a big drawcard. We’re thrilled with the number of entries and the standard. There will be some great squash being played over the weekend, so if locals want to come along they will be well entertained”.

More than 70 players are coming. There is no cost for spectators and there will be a licensed bar.
