Hayes Common’s food is thoughtfully and creatively compiled, with each dish a delicious combo of top-quality ingredients and great global flavours. Their sunny eatery – in skilfully refurbished vintage premises near the Waikato River – has a loyal following thanks to its well-earned reputation for friendly charm and a high standard of food, service and drinks. The evening menu is designed to be shared; it includes such pleasures as pork osso bucco with fennel, orange and roasted leek, and market fish with urenika potatoes, heirloom carrots and black bean vinaigrette.
