CRAFTWORK BREWERY, RED BONNET FLANDERS SOUR RED ALE

My number one favourite beer brewed in NZ comes from our very good friends, our brewing family, Craftwork Brewery from Oamaru. Their Red Bonnet Flanders Sour Ale Red Ale is patiently made with Vienna malt, flaked maize, crystal malts, hops, multiple yeasts, water, liquorice root, sour cherry and my favourite ingredient that Craftwork use: time. The one-year-old beer is then blended with young beer and aged for a further year in Waitaki pinot noir barrels.
