Black gar­lic

BLACK GAR­LIC IS gar­lic that has been slowly dried in a tem­per­a­ture­con­trolled en­vi­ron­ment, which gives it a deeply caramelised and savoury flavour. Raw gar­lic can be pun­gent and strong in flavour, but here the process mel­lows and sub­dues the gar­lic. It can be added to sauces, vinai­grettes and soups, and is de­li­cious smeared on bread as is or with a creamy cheese.
