Ac­ci­dent vic­tim’s face to be printed

Bri­tish surgeons have scanned one-half of a man’s face. The scan will be ‘mir­rored’ and used to print the other side of his face which was badly dis­fig­ured in a bike ac­ci­dent.

Doc­tors at Mor­ris­ton Hospi­tal in Wales will carry out the re­con­struc­tive surgery and claim the pa­tient’s fa­cial sym­me­try will even­tu­ally be fully re­stored.
