Oil-free piston produces ‘clean’ air for critical situations

In many applications such as food, medical, water treatment, instrument air or even mining, oil-free compressed air is critical in the production process.

However, in many instances, the larger oil free screw compressors are too big and too expensive.

Boge make a range of oil-free piston compressors in the K series and the ASO and BSO oil free series. These range in size from 1.5kW at 5.5cfm to 11 kW and 46cfm.

These compressors come in a variety of configurations as base mount or with an air receiver. In the case of the K series, the air receiver is ‘hot dipped’ and galvanised for further protection.

Some of the units can also come with a controller that can be upgraded to sequence multiple units.

These German engineered piston compressors have achieved a reputation of being reliable and in many instances are replacing the older ‘scroll’ technology.

Parts and service are also a major consideration of the product life cycle and Boge keep all spare parts locally. The machines are quick and easy to service reducing the overall customer cost. Many customers buy two or more units to ensure 100 per cent redundancy.
