Seminars and webinars to keep you up to speed
The Energy Management Association of New Zealand (EMANZ), with EECA, is running seminars and two online webinars on improving energy efficiency and energy management practice.
On Wednesday 14 May it is running a seminar in Christchurch for processing and manufacturing managers, engineering managers, engineering leaders and energy managers who are working in an industrial manufacturing or processing plant.
Processing and manufacturing operators and engineers, along with CFO's and accountants will find aspects of this seminar useful. However, free follow-up online webinars have been designed for these groups.
Two webinars are also planned. ‘Energy savings in the production line' will be held on Wednesday 21 May, 9.30 - 10.30am. It will provide more detailed, key information on aspects of the technical morning session of the earlier seminar.
Managers who attended the seminar are encouraged to attend this webinar with their team so they can discuss how to identify and implement energy efficiency opportunities within the manufacturing process.
A second webinar, ‘getting your business case across the line', is planned for Wednesday 4 June, 9.30 - 10.30am. This will provide more detailed information on developing a business case session of the earlier seminar.
Managers who attended the seminar are encouraged to attend this webinar with their managers, the CFO, or other members of the leadership team so they can discuss the opportunities available and how these opportunities can improve the overall productivity and efficiency of the plant.
