Preventing and handling corrosion is both vital to the future of New Zealand's high-growth industries and an expensive, complicated issue.

Corrosion produces significant safety and environmental consequences, and its control is therefore essential.

However, handling corrosion goes beyond just using the best coating for the job into understanding the regulations surrounding it; making cost-benefit analysis decisions; and matching knowledge about corrosions to your particular industry and infrastructure.

The New Zealand Coatings and Corrosion Conference & Exhibition on 29-30 July in Auckland will be New Zealand's first major event to address these issues.
