DEMM Engineering & Manufacturing - - MAINTENANCE MATTERS -

The Wifflon Super Polymer from Oz Seals is set to replace most Teflon (DuPont) PTFE material.

With outstanding durability, ideal for high pressure applications, seal life is vastly improved by 10 times when compared to the conventional seal.

The Wifflon super polymer is a thermoset with memory and can be stretched onto pistons without having to resize the glide ring, unlike PTFE thermoplastic that stay deformed.

Featuring a hardness of 60 Shore D, it boasts an excellent resistance to ageing and oil. At a hot water resistance of 95˚C, Oz Seals has used the latest in chemical innovation to achieve excellent low and high temperature properties that can withstand temperatures from -50 to 120˚C. Custom profiles can be made in hours.
