Safe and controllable flange pulling

A fast, powerful and safe f lange pulling system from Hydratight provides controllable pulling and alignment for f langes and heavy equipment employed by the mining, oil, gas, energy and construction and infrastructure industries.

The lightweight and self-contained system uses a 150mm (6-inch) stroke double-acting 12.7 ton hydraulic cylinder together with wire rope or threaded bars to reliably and precisely draw f langes together.

A jaw assembly is used to grip and release the 19 or 25mm (3/4-1inch) rope or 1-inch UNC drawbar. This 38kg wire f lange pulling system and 22kg drawbar type each operate compact hydraulics with maximum pressures of 380 bar (5500psi).

A four-way valve is incorporated into the unit to provide fast and simple operation and close operator control, says Hydratight, a global specialist in joint security with global operations, and proximately available through their Australasian and Asia Pacific teams.

Any number of cylinders can be used individually or simultaneously to provide constant loads for controlled displacement.
