Air purifying made easy with particle respirator

DEMM Engineering & Manufacturing - - PRODUCT WATCH -

The SR700 powered air-purifying particle respirator from Sundström weighs in at a touch over a kilo, complete with battery and filters. Yet it is a powerhouse of particle protection.

The SR700 can only be fitted with particle filters, but otherwise gives you all the performance offered by its ‘big cousin’, the SR500.

Moreover, it can be used with hoods, helmets and masks from the Sundström range, such as the SR200 full-face respirator.

The fan unit is operated by a single button and offers two air f low rates. The lithium-ion battery recharges in about two hours, and gives up to eight hours’ operating time in standard mode.

The unit offers visual and audible alarms alert to low battery and obstructed airflow, and it runs at >99.997 per cent efficiency.

The SR700/200 units have been a big success for asbestos removal contractors in Christchurch with its robust design and SR510 particle filter that can work in wet and dry conditions. An ideal solution when decontamination is a must.
