Safety glasses fit for anyone

A one-size-fits-all eye protection means many workers contend with illfitting safety eyewear, which can lead to lower safety compliance rates, decreased productivity, and more eye injuries.

That’s why Honeywell took a new approach to safety eyewear and developed Adaptec, a customisable range of safety glasses.

To provide the best-fitting eye protection every time, the glasses start with three distinct frame sizes: narrow, regular, and wide. Having selected the correct frame size for their face, workers can adjust the locking nose bridge, temple hinge, and the head tensioning system for a fit that’s right for them.

There is a choice of four lenses for different lighting environments, blocking anywhere from eight to 78 per cent of visible light, depending upon the task.

In addition, a 4A+ lens coating provides a high level of resistance against fogging, scratching, and dust attraction, in addition to a 99.9 per cent level of UV protection. Lenses are also easy to replace and glasses are compliant with Australian Standard ASNZS 1337.1:2010.
