Millennium Plastics was awarded the Supreme Award at the 2014 New Zealand Plastics Industry Design Awards.

Millennium won the award for their contribution to the design and development of Waikato Milking Systems’ all new electronic milk meter.

The milk meter showcases innovative Kiwi design through its ability to provide real-time data on milk production and quality, helping farms increase longterm profitability.

The gala event was hosted by Plastics New Zealand with principal sponsor Competenz. Special guest was Dr Mary Quin, CEO of Callaghan Innovation.

Gold awards were presented in 13 of the award categories. For more information on award winners see www.plastics.org.nz
