Buckley Systems’ network night
A big ‘thank you’ must go this month to Bill Buckley and Buckley Systems for hosting the Maintenance Society’s networking evening on Wednesday 16 October.
Buckley Systems manufacture and supply electromagnetics to more than 80 per cent of the world’s markets. Judging by the attendance of 120 engineers (a record number) there is no doubt these events are becoming very popular indeed.
As well as excellent coverage of the history, the skills and future at Buckley Systems, attendees were treated to extensive guided site tours. Thanks go to those staff members who acted as guides and took the time to answer questions from the tour groups.
Speaking to a number of attendees the indications is that being among peers and discussing mutual engineering topics is of a great benefit.
For those who were unable to attend, take a look at www.buckleysystems. com.
A reminder too that the SKF National Maintenance Engineering Conference and Expo 2014 will be at the Kingsgate Hotel in Hamilton, from midday on 11 November. For more details go to http://www.mesnz.org. nz/activities/conference.
