Oz Seals has just released four new rotary seal profiles into its custom sealing range: BP3C, BP3DC, BPHPA and BPHPB. Ideally used for rotary applications for any industry, these rotary seals can be designed for speeds of up to 10m/s and up to 100 bar pressure. They can be found in a wide variety of industries and applications, including: food, beverage and drug, underground mining, drill rigs, air motors, mixers, pumps, engines, hydraulic pumps and boats.

Wil Prinz, Managing Director of Oz Seals, suggests the recommended materials for these profiles are NBR, HNBR, Oz Super Red Polymer (ORSP), Viton and Aflas Extreme, depending on the media. They may be accompanied with TMCF or Oz Monyt Super Polyurethane carriers, which holds the elastomeric part, prevents rotation and locks it stationary into the housing.

“The new oil seal profiles can be produced in any size with the seal manufacturing software we developed, which is linked into one of our powerful Oz Manufacturing Systems. Sometimes standard seals can’t reach their limits and that is when we can help with these profiles to reach beyond standard limits,” says Mr Prinz.

The profiles form part of Oz Seals ever-expanding range of custom seals offering shown on the new website.
