The new vari­ant of the tried and tested Fro­nius Tran­sS­teel se­ries – the Tran­sS­teel 2500 Com­pact – is com­pact on the out­side but packed with power on the in­side, mak­ing the gas-cooled sys­tem per­fect for steel weld­ing.

The new Fro­nius Tran­sS­teel 2500 Com­pact MIG power source boasts a com­pact and ro­bust con­struc­tion, 250 amps, wire di­am­e­ter of up to 1.2 mm, proven Steel Trans­fer Tech­nol­ogy in­side and op­tional VRD for stick weld­ing if re­quired. To com­plete the pack­age it is supplied with a spe­cially de­vel­oped weld­ing torch. Another ben­e­fit for steel weld­ing and which is also in­te­grated in the Tran­sS­teel 2500c is the Steel Trans­fer Tech­nol­ogy with its Steel, Root and Dy­namic char­ac­ter­is­tics. The for­mer pro­vides quick and easy weld­ing set­tings, while Root is char­ac­ter­ized by a soft, sta­ble dip trans­fer arc, sim­ple root pass weld­ing with no pool sup­port and a high gap-bridg­ing abil­ity.
