This will be my 126th issue of DEMM Engineering & Manufacturing magazine, formerly known as DEMM (Digest of Equipment Materials
& Management) to the uninitiated, and after 11 years it’s now time for me to move on.
I will be staying within the media industry and by the time you read this I will be the new Advertising Sales Manager of The Shed magazine www.theshedmag.co.nz at Cadenza Publishing. Many of you will know the magazine, especially if you like to spend time designing, building or repairing projects in your shed. I’m very excited about the opportunities at The Shed magazine and if you’re going to Big Boys Toys (30th Oct – 1st Nov) this year, call into see us in ‘ The Shed’ hall and say hello.
I would like to thank the advertisers for their most valued business and I trust the DEMM readers will continue to ‘keep the wheels turning’ and provide them with ongoing business. A big ‘thumbs up’ too to the contributors and readers for their qualified input, insight and comment.
To the Maintenance Engineers and the MESNZ a big thank you, the long association has had enormous positive impact with the readership, long may it continue.
Last but not least of course, a big thank you to the team at Adrenalin Publishing for their support and hard work during my tenure. A great deal of effort goes on behind the scenes with the production of this magazine from content to design, print, circulation and administration, again my sincere thanks.
My replacement is a current colleague at Adrenalin, Nicki Nemeth. Nicki is very experienced in media advertising and familiar with the engineering and manufacturing scene, having worked for a number of years with
SA Mining magazine in South Africa. I’m sure she can look forward to the amazing support, encouragement and friendship you have all shown me over the years.
