Colour code for health & safety
ensuring your staff have access to the right equipment for the job simply makes sense. So when colour coded, heavy duty hose nozzles were released by Tecpro Australia, many processing plants were quick to adopt the new range.
Designed and manufactured in Europe, the blue and red hose nozzles allow workers to easily distinguish between hot vs cold water hoses. As a result, workers can effortlessly identify which hose i s the most appropriate for the job while alerting them to be extra vigilant when using hot water.
Extremely heavy duty, the red and blue hose nozzles are available in both brass and 316L stainless steel. The stainless steel model i s ideal for specialised industries where hygiene i s critical – such as food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
Some companies associate the colour white with cleaning equipment so Tecpro Australia also supplies a heavy duty white rubber version of the hose nozzle which has a 316L stainless steel body.
All of Tecpro Australia’s Hose Nozzles are built to last and include a replaceable EPDM rubber cover. If wear occurs, you simply purchase a new cover rather than an entire new hose nozzle. This is a real moneysaver for manufacturers.
In addition, the EPDM cover i s designed to minimise heat transfer up to 80°C max. making them safer for staff to use.
Cleaning teams love using the inline nozzles because they are less likely to become caught on machinery compared with using the more commonly available washdown guns. Many teams also report the t wist head i s more comfortable to use than a hose trigger. The simple t wist operation provides a high pressure, conical spread of water at up to 16 Bar ( 232PSI) of water pressure.
Tecpro Australia’s heavy duty hose nozzles will fit ½”, ¾” and 1” hoses and are suitable for any high volume wash- down application. In fact Tecpro Australia has the widest range of wash- down guns and nozzles in both Australia and New Zealand.
