Global launch of cus­tomer sup­port tool

Find­ing the right over­head crane is now even easier with Konecranes’ Crane Ad­vi­sor, an on­line tool that helps cus­tomers nar­row down their crane op­tions with cus­tomised rec­om­men­da­tions, ad­vises the com­pany.

The tool is al­ready be­ing used in global mar­kets and is now avail­able in Aus­trala­sia, with new fea­tures and con­tent.

As a leader in the over­head crane in­dus­try, Konecranes says it in­vests in R&D to bring new tech­nolo­gies and nov­el­ties to the mar­ket. “Crane Ad­vi­sor is a ser­vice that makes the in­for­ma­tion re­trieval a lot easier and more ef­fi­cient for our cus­tomers,” said Jari Myyryläi­nen, Vice Pres­i­dent, Konecranes In­dus­trial Ap­pli­ca­tions. “Crane Ad­vi­sor of­fers the cus­tomer valu­able in­for­ma­tion which is cus­tomised ac­cord­ing to the lif ting needs.”

DRIVEN BY EASE- OF- USE AND CUS­TOMISED I NFORMATION

Only four steps are nec­es­sary to get a crane rec­om­men­da­tion. Crane Ad­vi­sor asks the cus­tomer to an­swer four key ques­tions – in­dus­try, ca­pac­ity, span and duty class. The icon-based-de­sign of the tool makes it ex­tremely user-friendly. Af­ter sub­mit­ting the an­swers, the user im­me­di­ately gets a per­son­alised over­head crane rec­om­men­da­tion. With this rec­om­men­da­tion, the cus­tomer can fa­mil­iarise them­selves with the prod­uct of­fer­ing even be­fore con­tin­u­ing dis­cus­sions with a Konecranes sales rep­re­sen­ta­tive. This ap­proach saves the cus­tomer’s time and de­ci­sion mak­ing. In a world where time is money, this is very valu­able.
