Black Ferns show a strong drive to win

Eastern Courier - - LOCALJOBS -

If the team had played the way they did on a chilly Sunday at Mt Smart, perhaps the season would not have been as dismal as it has been.

I’m seldom a critic of my team, which I love, but we let Manly back into it after we snatched the lead with a few minutes to go and Warriors coach Stephen Kearney admitted we were our own worst enemy as we fell to our eighth straight loss.

On the plus side, it was a courageous effort and might give us confidence ahead of for our final NRL game of the year this weekend, against the Wests Tigers.

We had a fantastic day in my lounge, and it never fails to impress me how committed the fans remain.

My lounge members and guests are my kind of people. They aren’t keyboard warriors who bag their side, and they aren’t radio callers who do nothing but slate their own team.
