Bach Musica NZ is holding a concert that will take its audience on a journey through Bohemia and Germany.

to Dvorˇa´k and Schubert,
Bach Musica’s third concert this year, this Sunday, October 8.
It will open with Antonı´n Dvorˇa´k’s Biblical Songs, while the second half features Franz Schubert’s Mass No. 5 in A Flat Major, which is also called his Missa Solemnis.
Bach Musica spokeswoman Eva-Maria Hess says it’s delighted to welcome back international soprano Morag Atchison and mezzo soprano Catrin Johnsson.
‘‘The award-winning vocal pair will be joined by one of Australia’s finest lyric coloratura tenors Henry Choo and young Samoan bass Joel Amosa, who has already won several awards in both New Zea- land as well as Australia,’’ she says.
‘‘Under the baton of internationally-acclaimed conductor and music and artistic director Rita Paczian this exciting concert is one not be missed.’’
