Paku­ranga Coun­selling Cen­tre has re­ceived fund­ing from the How­ick Lo­cal Board to run three free events on the topic of Youth Sex­u­al­ity and the In­ter­net. For par­ents with chil­dren and youths, Liz Walker from Aus­tralia presents on the har­mon­line pornog­ra­phy is hav­ing on young peo­ple. It’s at Ma­cleans Col­lege, Colin Pren­tice Au­di­to­rium, on Tues­day, Novem­ber 21, 2017, doors from 6.30pm for 7-8.30pm, reg­is­ter at ma­cleans.school.nz. The work­shop, coun­ter­act­ing pornog­ra­phy in chil­dren and youth, is for com­mu­nity lead­ers, so­cial ser­vice groups, health pro­fes­sion­als and car­ers who are work­ing with young peo­ple. Walker is again the pre­sen­ter, at St Columba Church Au­di­to­rium, 480 Ti Rakau Drive, Botany, on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 23, 1-4.30pm, reg­is­ter at pakcc.org.nz.
