Native Trees

Element - - Upfront -

New Zealand’s Native Trees is the most comprehensive book on the subject. At least seven years in the making, it features more than 320 native trees illustrated by 2300 gorgeous photographs. Photographer Rob Lucas has assembled an extraordinary collection of close-ups of the details of leaves, flowers and fruits as well as habitat shots, and the text by botanist John Dawson is accessible as well as authoritative. Over 50 boxed features focus, among other things, on the interesting relationships native birds and insects have with our trees and forests. Beautifully designed and presented, this is a landmark book.
