If you’re taking your dog on holidays this year, follow these simple rules. Do not let your dog go into or near bush areas. Do not walk your dog in bush areas. Know where your dog is at all times and make sure it is secured at night. Boaties, leave your dogs on board and provide alternative facilities for them, or leave them behind. Many kiwi are killed by dogs put ashore. Even the most docile dogs are capable of killing kiwi.
