Kerbside food waste collection & processing not only comes at a huge cost to the ratepayer but also produces harmful greenhouse gases which cannot be captured at landfill. Refuse collection trucks produce carbon emissions and clutter up already congested roads. Messy food waste perishes rapidly and can contribute to neighbourhood smells and public health risks.

Insinkerator food waste disposers are not only convenient and hygienic, but are also environmentally and economically responsible. Using minimal electricity and about 1% of an average home’s annual water consumption, an Insinkerator disposer can enable food waste to be captured and converted to renewable energy for beneficial re-use.
