Stationery giant Croxley is making huge gains towards sustainable business practice, with 185 of its products approved by Environmental Choice as of this month. All of these products are manufactured in New Zealand. This means the products reach strict environmental standards and use non carcinogenic inks. Further accreditations include CEMARS, the first two steps of Carbonzero certification, and Enviromark. It’s also a streamlined operation these days, with waste to landfill reduced by 60%, electricity consumption down 17%, emissions down almost 10% and 450 tonnes of paper and cardboard recycled, all since 2008.
