ONTHE GROUND

Element - - Ecology -

As you drive down the lane to Yealands winery, you may well notice sheep among the vines that seem to be, well, short. They are the Babydoll sheep, there to mow the grass under the vines but unable to reach the grapes due to their stature. The eventual plan is to be able to be able to dispense with roaring tractors mowing grass up and down the rows, and let the little fellas reign instead.
