Chooks

Some chooks develop the bad habit of egg eating. Always make sure chooks have enough food and water and collect eggs daily. If you feed egg shells to your girls make sure that they are finely ground up so they are unrecognisable. If a chook becomes an egg eater try filling an empty egg shell with chilli sauce or hot mustard sauce. If this doesn’t work the only other option is getting rid of the chook. Polish poultry This breed of bantam looks like Jackie O with her huge bouffant hair do! They can sometimes be blindsided by their headdress and can act a bit skittish. They are a very gentle breed which can often see them at the bottom of the pecking order. Their egg laying can be a bit sporadic but their looks make up for this.
