to cop­per sprays try spray­ing with Condy’s Crys­tals. It is a salt which has an

ox­i­dis­ing ef­fect. It has an­ti­fun­gal and an­ti­sep­tic prop­er­ties. Mix one tea­spoon with

one litre of wa­ter and add a dash of liq­uid soap. The mix­ture will be vivid pur­ple.

Spray on trees and around the drip line on the soil. You can buy Condy’s Crys­tals

from most gar­den Po­tas­sium Per­man­ganate cen­tres or chemists. It is some­times sold as Kmn04
