Buying second hand

Element - - LIFESTYLE -

Recycling second-hand stuff saves resources, but these machines tend to have a hard life. So only buy a washing machine that is less than five years old where all the seals and fittings are in good condition, otherwise you could be looking at costly repairs in the not too distant future. Preferably buy from dealers: as they are subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act, while a private sale is not.
